July 24, Saturday, 7:00am, Oakland, Bike4Peace. Cynthia McKinney and others will bike across the country, and I'll bike through Oakland. We start at 7:00 a.m. at the House of Common Sense, next to the Black Dot Cafe, 1195 Pine St., West Oakland. The cafe will host a night-before potluck party from 6:00-10:00pm, Friday night, July 23.  

August 5, Thursday, 6:30pm, Oakland, SF Mime Troupe. We'll picnic at Lakeside Park as the troupe performs "POSIBILIDAD, or Death of the Worker."

August 7, Saturday in San Francisco. Dinner and Dialogue;  then Party On;  then switch venues to the Rickshaw for daughter band's "Social Studies CD Release Party"

August 12, Thursday, 4:00-6:00 pm, Pirate Cat Radio. Interview with DJ Aisha on "Sounds From the Street", streaming live at www.piratecatradio.com.

August 15, Sunday, 1:00-4:00 pm, Patio Potluck Party, Alameda. More details to come.

August 23, Monday evening, People's Budget Forum, San Rafael. Marin Peace and Justice Coalition. Potuck starts at 6:30pm; program at 7:15pm, First United Methodist Church, 9 Ross Valley Dr., San Rafael. 

September 6, Monday, 1:00-3:00 pm, Labor Day Party in North Hollywood. San Fernando Valley Greens will host a big bash at the Mayflower Club. Many special guests including statewide candidates.

September 11-12, Sat-Sun, Green Party of California, Fullerton, Orange County. Green Party of California meets to prepare for the November 2 election and to build a movement.

September 19, Sunday, Campaign Brunch in Fairfax. Details to come.

September 25, Saturday p.m. - Vallejo.  Event will honor and support Cres Velucci plus our Green Governor campaign.

October 5, Monday. Debate co-hosted by the Public Policy Institute of California (PPIC) and the California Broadcasters Association (CBA).  NOTE: Candidates will be included based on 10% support measured in surveys by PPIC, the Field Poll, or the LA Times/USC Poll. If the survey question is "should the debate have more than the Democratic and Republican candidates?" the answer will be a super-majority "Yes!" What question will they ask?

October 18, Monday. Deadline to register to vote in the November general election. Application form must be received by October 18.

November 2, 2010, Tuesday. General election. Polls open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Vote for for the non-corporate, non-Titanic Party candidates as often as you can: Vote for Laura – vote for Green candidates down the line!
