EVENTS ALREADY CELEBRATED – partial list

October 29, 2010, Friday, 3-4pm, ABC 7 TV. All four independent party candidates will be interviewed by Brian Copeland on the "7 Live Show."

October 28, 2010, Thursday, 1 to 2:30 p.m., Free and Equal Debate, California State University - Sacramento. All-inclusive debate with all gubernatorial candidates invited. Candidates from California's four independent political parties have accepted. It will take place in the Forest Suite located on the second floor of the University Union.

October 16-19, Saturday to Tuesday. Southern California possibilities Saturday and Sunday; Visalia in Tulare County on Sunday and Monday; Fresno on Monday and Tuesday. Details to follow.

October 18, Monday. Deadline to register to vote in the November general election. Application form must be received by October 18.

October 13, Wednesday, 10:00-11:00 am, Mitch Jeserich, Pacifica radio "Letters to Washington" KPFA 94.1 Berkeley, KPFK 90.7 Los Angeles / 98.7 Santa Barbara, KFCF 88.1 Fresno. October 14, Democracy Now with Amy Goodman. Recording TV/radio show in SF studio starting about 5:00 a.m. 5-6 minute segment to be aired live on East Coast, later on West Coast.

October 12, Tuesday, 4-6:30 pm, corner of Acacia Ave and Grand Ave, San Rafael. Dominican University and NBC are holding a gubernatorial debate and calling it the “Green Debate.” Only thing they forgot – the Green candidate. The debate between the two Titanic Party candidates starts at 6:30 pm. We’ll gather before that to say that elections should be won by ideas not influence. California itself loses the debate when the independent political parties are not at the table to bring in the real issues, and the real solutions.

October 10, Sunday, 5-6:30 pm, 6501 Telegraph, Oakland. The monthly Green Sunday will focus on Transition Towns and local sustainability as promoted in Albany, CA and other cities around the world.

October 7, Thursday, California. Student day of action. Watch for details; join in for a better world.

August 5, Thursday, 6:30pm, Oakland, SF Mime Troupe. We'll picnic at Lakeside Park as the troupe performs "POSIBILIDAD, or Death of the Worker." IT WAS GREAT! See SFMT.org for schedule around California. Handed out leaflets to hundreds in the crowd.

July 24, Saturday, 7:00am, Oakland, Bike4Peace. Cynthia McKinney and others will bike across the country, and I'll bike through Oakland. We start at 7:00 a.m. at the House of Common Sense, next to the Black Dot Cafe, 1195 Pine St., West Oakland. The cafe will host a night-before potluck party from 6:00-10:00pm, Friday night, July 23.
